Answer:

The factory hitch and dealer installed hitch are extremely similar. The only distinct way to differentiate between the two is to check how the 2" x 2" receiver is attached to the round cross bar. Below on the left, you can see the true factory hitch welded on to the round cross bar; there are no bolts attaching the two. On the right, you can clearly see the bolts that attach the dealer installed receiver to the round crossbar.
