Ken and the newest member of his family: Part 3

In this series we are highlighting Ken Pastorius and his adventures through the manufacturing of his truck, the creation of the tie downs for his new truck and his experience with installing and using them. You can check out Part 1 and Part 2 to fully catch up on the story. In our final part we are highlighting Ken’s installation of his truck camper tie downs and Torklift International StableLoads.

Below are some photos of Ken installing his StableLoads, the steps he went through to install them and the finished product which is his 2015 GMC truck all decked out.

“It was a pleasant surprise to see my name and quote in the box. I remember us having the conversation a couple years back but forgot all about it. So, that was a fun surprise.”

In Ken’s own words: “The install went very well. I must say, that even from a person with limited mechanical skill, if you have the right tools, this is a relatively simple project.”

We engineered the StableLoad installation to be as easy as possible and with a quick no-drill installation you can install it and be on your way in a couple hours. All of our products are built to be no-drill, but in the rare instances that your vehicle does not have pre-dilled holes from the manufacture we have a drill kit available for installation into the leaf spring.

Some other great features of the StableLoad include:

• Dramatically improves safety, handling and reduces sway, body roll and porpoising
• Ability to turn on and off in seconds*
• Universal fit for all vehicles with factory installed upper or lower overloads
• Quad contact design complements the vehicle manufacturer's four point suspension as     opposed to reducing it to two points of contact with all other rear suspension products
• Quick no-drill installation**
• Enhances airbag performance by lowering airbag overload air pressure
• Kit includes four StableLoads (outfits one complete vehicle)
• Legendary Lifetime Warranty includes coverage for the vehicle factory leaf springs
• Proudly made in the USA

* Applies only to the StableLoad Quick Disconnect (Lower Overload).
** Does not apply to the StableLoad Quick Disconnect (Lower Overload) A7311 (WITH DRILL KIT).

As you can see to the right, Ken’s Talon Tie Downs look great and are very special because they are the very first 2016 TalonTie Downs of the year and are the first product of our 40th anniversary. Also, the white FastGuns look sharp as they match his new truck and the Arctic Fox 1150. The StableLoads are a great improvement and will help him have improved handling and safety while out on the road.

There you have it folks! The third and final part about Ken Pastorius and his adventures of adding the newest member to his family, a 2015 GMC Denali 3500 DRW. Now all outfitted with Torklift Talon Tie Downs, FastGuns and StableLoads, Ken and his family are ready to hit the road! We look forward to hearing more stories of their journeys.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the FastGuns, StableLoads and Talon Tie Downs or where to purchase them.
