Vacation begins in June

PRESS EMBARGO: DO NOT ANNOUNCE THE WINNER OR SHOW VIDEO UNTIL TUESDAY 6 A.M. EST/9 A.M. PST

SUMNER Wash. (April 1, 2014) — The winner of the Torklift Treasure Hunt is announced and will enjoy a weeklong truck camping vacation this June.

Sue Jurf was selected as the winner for her entry as part of a summer-long campsite mystery. Players from all over the United States read clues about mystery camping destinations. Once they figured out where the destinations were, they went to the destination and took a picture of themselves at the location to use as an entry to win the truck camping vacation.

Currently Northstar Campers is building a brand new truck camper in Iowa for Jurf and her guest to use during the vacation. The truck camper will be sent to Truck Camper Warehouse in New Hampshire to be outfitted with Torklift International gear including tie downs and FastGun turnbuckles. Owner Bill Penney and his team will show Jurf all the features on the truck and camper before they embark on their adventure.

Torklift International will fly Jurf and a guest to and from New Hampshire, pay for campsite fees and provide funds for groceries and fuel.

“This vacation will be something they remember for a lifetime,” said Torklift International General Manager Jay Taylor. “Traveling the east coast in June is beautiful. Doing it in a Northstar truck camper is even better because they are an industry leader when it comes to hard-side and pop-up truck camper models. We are excited to see what they are building for this trip. Jurf and her guest are also privileged to work with Truck Camper Warehouse because they are known for how they treat their customers when it comes to walking them through all the features of a new truck camper to ensure they are comfortable.”
