C3219/C3220 - Truck Camper Tie Downs

Q: The C3219 and C3220 tie downs seem similar, which one do I need?

A: Both the C3219 and C3220 truck camper tie downs are designed to fit the same year GM 1500 trucks with the 5.75’ and 6.75’ bed. The difference is in the exhaust system the truck is equipped with. For trucks with factory dual exhaust (excluding the Trailboss) use C3219 truck camper tie down.  For trucks with factory single exhaust use C3220 truck camper tie down. The exhaust on the Trailboss is an interference with both part numbers. 

Q: I am unable to get the receiver to line-up with the leaf spring bolt – what should I do?

A: Check the tie down frame plates first. They need to be located on the bottom and inside of the frame. If it is bolted onto the outside of the frame it will cause the receiver to not line-up correctly.
