SuperHitch® Original 20k Features

• SuperHitch® Original 20K frame-mounted receiver is rated up to 20,000 lbs with weight distriubtion (17,000 lbs weight carrying) in either the upper or lower receivers (When used without SuperTruss extension)

• SuperTruss extensions available in 8 lengths from 21" to 60" (sold separately)

• Hardened reinforced hitch pin locations

• Both the SuperHitch Original 20K frame mount receiver and the SuperTruss receiver extension use indusry standard 2" x 2" ballmounts

• Eliminates the need for two ball mounts by allowing ball height variance using either the upper or lower SuperHitch® receiver

Fitment

Please Note: Upgrading your Factory/OEM hitch to a SuperHitch will change your rear tie down application. Torklift rear tie down part number R3507 is the compatible rear tie down with this SuperHitch.

Receiver & Ball Mount Compatibility

• Upper receiver / Lower receiver: 2" opening. Accepts ball mounts and the SuperTruss Extension. 

• SuperTruss extensions easily installs into dual receiver and accept 2" accessories.

Installation At A Glance

• No drilling required on 2013 Dodge/Ram 2500 6.5' and 8' bed (SRW), 2013-2018 Dodge/Ram 3500 6.5' and 8' bed (SRW or DRW)

• Estimated install time: 1.5–2.5 hours with standard shop tools.

• Tools commonly used: torque wrench, sockets, box wrenches, safety glasses.

• Torque: Tighten all fasteners to the values specified in the installation instructions for D1108; re-torque after initial use.

• Camper tie-down note: Upgrading your Factory/OEM hitch to a SuperHitch will change your rear tie down application. Torklift rear tie down part number R3507 is the compatible rear tie down with this SuperHitch.

Accessories required to achieve listed ratings:

• Weight distribution system required to reach 20,000 lb pull / 2,000 lb tongue (no extension) and 12,000 lb pull / 1,200 lb tongue when using a 48" SuperTruss

• SuperTruss extension (sold separately) required when towing with a truck camper or bed overhang

Safety & Conditions

• Definitions:

• Pull (Gross Trailer Weight, GTW): The total loaded trailer weight being towed.

• Tongue Weight (TW): The vertical load on the hitch from the trailer coupler.

• Rule: Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer’s rated capacities including GVWR, GAWR, or GCWR.

• Weight Distribution (WD) is required to reach 20,000 lb pull / 2,000 lb tongue with no extension, and to reach the 12,000 lb pull / 1,200 lb tongue maximum when using longer SuperTruss extensions.

• Example: If your trailer weighs 19,000 lb with a 1900 lb tongue and your truck’s GCWR allows it, you may tow at this weight only when using a properly sized weight distribution system and no extension. If you add a 48" SuperTruss, your maximum is limited to 12,000 lb pull / 1,200 lb tongue with WD (6,000/600 carrying), regardless of trailer capability.
