A couple of things I’m less excited about-
1. The removable receiver is a curious choice. The manual suggests that you should torque the bolt holding it in before each use. However, even if that were feasible for most of us, it’s very difficult to access the bolt-you’re going to need a crow’s foot to do so. If you think that you’ll be removing/replacing the receiver often, it’s going to take some work. For my use and now that I’ve seen it installed, I think I would have preferred a one-piece unit.
2-Your kick tailgate sensor will not work without modification, which is a step that doesn’t seem to be in the install video. You must remove the kick sensor, trim it, and zip tie one of the sensors into a lower position.
3. No grommet to clean up your cutout. This has been included with the Subaru ecohitches, and would have been a nice touch. Not a big deal though as the cut isn’t visible.

Most of the plastic that needing trimming I was able to complete with a utility knife. However an oscillating blade worked very well for the thicker pieces, and you can also trim the bumper while installed if you need to add extra clearance. The other reviewer said you buy a crows foot wrench to tighten the drop down receiver bolt- this isn't necessary I was able to use my torque wrench and a normal socket quite easily.
I'm so happy I spend the extra bit of money for this concealed and stock appearing set up. You would seriously have no idea this didn't come stock and the hideous cross tube that is typically present on aftermarket installs is no more. Everything else was perfect as well. Fabrication and welds were perfect, and the powder coating was flawless as well.
