*WARNING* Your vehicle may have a lower tow rating than this trailer hitch. If your vehicle's tow rating is less than the rated towing capacity on your Torklift Central trailer hitch, your trailer hitch capacity is limited to your vehicle's factory rated towing capacity.
***IMPORTANT NOTICE:
While EcoHitch®️ trailer hitches are built with high-strength materials and tested for exceptional weight ratings, your vehicle’s factory towing capacities are the ultimate limit. Always refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual to determine its maximum towing and tongue weight ratings. No aftermarket hitch or accessory can increase your vehicle’s factory-rated towing capacities.
Using hauling accessories like extensions, cargo trays, bike racks, or other accessories that extend the load out from the trailer hitch, will significantly reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch system.
To estimate how your setup will affect tongue weight, we recommend using our Maximum Hitch Weight (Tongue Weight) Estimator before hauling your payload (cargo trays, bike racks, etc).
Disclaimer:It is the user’s responsibility to ensure safe towing practices and to confirm that all loads fall within the limits of the lowest-rated component in the towing system. Torklift is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from the misuse or overloading of towing/hauling equipment.

Customer Reviews
This last interaction, on a Friday no less, responding directly to an email that I sent regarding some (hopefully useful) feedback, is just the most recent of a consistent series of positive impressions.
I received it today and have to say, the quality is great. This thing is extremely sturdy! I also like the design as it bolts behind the crash bar instead of under the frame rails. This required a little more effort as I had to remove the rear bumper but the instructions were great.
I have to give this product 5 stars, if you are in the market, spend the extra money and get this hitch.
I had a local shop install it for me, since the certified installer in CT was too far. It took them just over two hours, so you can estimate labor cost that way.
If your wondering if I'm planning to tow anything more than a bike rack, probably not. The Mazda 6 isn't rated to tow anything, and I don't know enough about the subject to ignore the manufacturer's recommendation. My preference of my car not dying far exceeds my need to tow something heavy with it.
I'm very happy with the eco hitch and I absolutely recommend it for anyone that needs both a Mazda 6 and a tow hitch.
