EcoHitch - Hidden:

***IMPORTANT NOTICE:

While EcoHitch®️ trailer hitches are built with high-strength materials and tested for exceptional weight ratings, your vehicle’s factory towing capacities are the ultimate limit. Always refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual to determine its maximum towing and tongue weight ratings. No aftermarket hitch or accessory can increase your vehicle’s factory-rated towing capacities.

Using hauling accessories like extensions, cargo trays, bike racks, or other accessories that extend the load out from the trailer hitch, will significantly reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch system.

To estimate how your setup will affect tongue weight, we recommend using our Maximum Hitch Weight (Tongue Weight) Estimator before hauling your payload (cargo trays, bike racks, etc).

Disclaimer:It is the user’s responsibility to ensure safe towing practices and to confirm that all loads fall within the limits of the lowest-rated component in the towing system. Torklift is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from the misuse or overloading of towing/hauling equipment.

Installed on my Outback
Review by
I have a Torklift hitch on my Outback. It is excellent - fits completely inside the bumper, except the receiver. And unlike the Subaru hitch, it doesn't protrude beyond the bumper. Installation is an afternoon DYI project. Well worth it.
Just installed the Outback EcoHitch

The installation was pretty easy and went exactly like the instructions they provide. Installed on my 2012 Outback 3.6R in 2 hours by myself using the hole enlargement method. LOVE the look of this thing, super solid build, and great customer service. Well worth the extra $.
Very nicely built hitch
Review by
I considered almost every hitch available for our 2014 Outback, and eventually decided to go with the Torklift. it tucks up behind the bumper nicely and doesn't stick out as far as the OEM hitch or cost as much as the OEM hitch.

When I first opened it up, I was impressed with the build quality. It has a very nice finish that looks like it will last a long time and also has reinforcing in all the areas that look like they would take the most load.

The install was a little more involved than I expected, but it went well overall. I did have minor clearance issues on some of the rear sheet metal, but it was easily solved.

I'm VERY happy with how it turned out over all and would gladly go with a Torklift hitch again in the future.
Best Feature is Ground Clearance
Review by
I am very satisfied with the customer service and quality of construction of the hitch. I would highly recommend this product especially since the best feature is that the vehicle retains its ground clearance. Other hitches hang below the rear bumper facia causing loss of clearance.
2014 Outback hitch install
Review by
Very pleased with final installation of product. I wanted a hitch that looked good on the car and did not stick out under the bumper like all the others. With a little bit of grunt work, I was actually able to install the hitch by myself on my garage floor without any help. I'd recommend a helping hand, but it is doable by oneself. The method of installation I used was the hole enlargement and the fish wire that is provided made it super easy to fish the bolts to the fastening locations. I would definitely recommend this hitch to others for those that don't mind spending a little extra money compared to competitors to get a hitch that is totally concealed other than the receiver. Great product!!
Easier to install then I expected
