2) it's capability to hide the receiver unit when not needed, which gives you back your ground clearance / departure angle.
Note: if you have a lift kit with rear subframe spacer, you will need to install longer exhaust hangers to clear the hitch frame. In my case, I have the Nameless 5” axleback exhaust with tip pointing down. The exhaust hangers are long and could rub against the Hitch frame (damaging the powder coat finish).
If your vehicle doesn’t have the spacers and you are running stock exhaust, this trailer hitch is plug and play; just like in the installation video.
